There's a bit of an Irish flavor this week. They just beat arch rival England at Rugby but they weren't so lucky at soccer against Brazil. But heck, they gave us U2 and Riverdance and a great excuse to have a few pints on St. Patrick's Day. There's an Irish Festival at Fairplex in Pomona and celtic folk harp in Claremont. The Academy Awards are Sunday in LA but so is the Tight Shortz film festival.
